The Art of Confident Content

You didn't start your business to spend your evenings doom-scrolling for trending audios, agonising over hooks or posting content you're not even sure is working.

You started it because you're brilliant at what you do.

And somewhere between launching your business and now, creating content to promote it became the thing you dread most. The thing that keeps you up at night, interrupts your train of thought at every available moment and makes you feel like you're failing at something you shouldn't even have to be good at.

You're not failing. You just don't have a strategy yet.

That's where I come in.

Hi, I’m Rebecca

In 2012 I quit my job to backpack solo around South East Asia.

After a year in Thailand and two in Australia, I came back to the UK for a year to save for my next adventure, but this time I didn't want to scrape by working three jobs at once (although they were fun!). I wanted a career that would let me keep travelling whilst building something sustainable and meaningful.

So I went back to work as a Centre Support Assistant, surrounded by entrepreneurs and business owners every day. Managing the social media was never part of my role, but when nobody else was doing it, I took it over. And I quickly became what some people might call “obsessed”, especially when I started seeing all the stats go up.

My bosses suggested I was good enough to go freelance, so I decided to go for it. (One of them also hired me two years later!).

In 2017, I said goodbye to my role as a CSA, setup my freelancer socials (obvs) and moved to the island of Utila, Honduras. Before I'd even left the country, enquiries were landing in my inbox.

Whilst the relationship I moved to Utila for didn't last, my career in social media marketing did.

Nearly a decade later, I've worked with jewellery designers and travel brokers, service based businesses and beard oil companies, property developers and wedding celebrants, huge multi-million dollar businesses and one-person solopreneur operations.

And across all of them, the thing that's never changed is this: the businesses that last aren't successful because of one or two viral moments. They're built on consistent, intentional content that makes the right people feel something, which keeps them coming back.

That, if you ask me, is the smartest way to show up.

Why Robin Rose Creative?

I haven't told you this yet but my Grandad was my favourite person in the world. Reliable, my safe place, someone I trusted to be there no matter what. His name was Christopher Robin and on 24th December 2024, he died.

Nine weeks later, on 25th February 2025, my Nan died too. She always had a story to tell, made friends wherever she went and the thousands of photos at her home documented our entire lives. Her name was Irene Rose.

After nearly a decade of freelancing under my own name, I wanted to build something that meant more than a business. A brand with love, heart and soul at its core. Something reliable. Something that lasted.

So Robin Rose Creative was born. And whilst I may have borrowed the name from my dead grandparents, I promise you the strategies and creative ideas are all my own.

And before you ask, they were my maternal Grandad and paternal Nan, not a married couple as many people have thought. Though yes, that would’ve been a tragically beautiful love story…

I don't believe in needing to go viral to make sales, or posting every day, or burning yourself out trying to keep up with an algorithm that changes every five minutes.

What I do believe is that every single post you share, when shared with intention, is a brick in the trust foundation you're building with your audience. Some bricks introduce you. Some bricks build the connection. And some bricks are the ones that make someone finally think “Omg, I need to work with them!”.

Good marketing isn't about making it in a single viral post. It's about showing up consistently, with purpose, in a way that feels sustainable, so you never have to choose between running your business or promoting it.

That's The Art of Confident Content. And it's the belief that sits at the heart of The Robin Method™.

What I believe:

Every bespoke strategy is built using The Robin Method™, a five step framework I developed over nearly a decade of working with business owners across multiple industries. It starts with a Review of your goals, audience and capacity, before Optimising your profile based on exactly who you're trying to reach.

From there, I Build your 90 day strategy, leaving you with a confident content plan you're actually excited to Implement and Nurture. Then it's over to you to tend it until your next refresh, or until we pick it back up together in In Full Bloom.

Most content advice skips straight to the calendar. The Robin Method™ starts long before that. Because a calendar without a strategy behind it is just a list of things to post. And we both know you deserve more than that.
